Pre-launch draft

This is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel, and it describes what the app does today, before launch. Bracketed items are placeholders for details that don’t exist yet — the operating entity, a contact address, the 501(c)(3) intermediary.

Terms of Service

Effective: [effective date — set at launch]

These terms cover the OneMore app (pre-launch) and this website, including its waitlist and contact forms. They are a working draft and will be completed with counsel before launch.

1. What OneMore is

OneMore is operated by [operating entity — not yet formed]. OneMore is a for-profit charitable fundraising platform, not a charity. Donations are made to the charities you choose through [501(c)(3) intermediary — not yet chosen], a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which is the legal recipient of record, issues donor tax receipts, and disburses funds to the end charities. OneMore never holds donor funds.

2. Eligibility

OneMore is for people in the United States who are 18 or older and hold a US bank account in their own name. By using the app or joining the waitlist you confirm this describes you.

3. The service today

OneMore has not launched. This website exists to describe the product, take waitlist signups, and receive messages. We don't promise a launch date.

When live, the app rounds each purchase up to the next whole dollar and treats the difference as your contribution; an exact whole-dollar purchase contributes nothing. Contributions pool and are sent out when they reach the amount you set ($5, $10 or $20 — $10 by default). You can give double on every purchase, set a monthly goal, and split your giving across up to 8 charities from our verified list.

4. Donations

Pooled contributions are made to [501(c)(3) intermediary — not yet chosen], which disburses them to your selected charities and issues any tax receipt. Once sent, donations are final.

The charity list is curated and may change. Charity names belong to the organisations themselves; being listed does not mean a charity endorses OneMore.

[Exact collection terms — how pooled contributions are collected from your account — to be published before launch.]

5. Fees

Using OneMore is free today. If that ever changes, we'll say so clearly before it does.

6. Your bank connection

Bank connections are made through Plaid and request transaction data only. We can't move money out of your account, we never see your bank login, and we don't keep your balance. We keep each purchase — merchant, category and date — next to the round-up it produced. You can disconnect your bank at any time in the app.

7. Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information, connect only accounts you own, and don't misuse the service — no fraud, no automated scraping of the site, no interfering with other people's use, no attempts to bypass rate limits or protections on the forms.

8. Not advice

Nothing in the app or on this site is tax, legal, investment or financial advice. Whether a donation is deductible depends on your situation — talk to a professional.

9. Intellectual property

The OneMore name, this site, and the app are ours. Charity names and marks belong to the charities.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service and this site are provided as-is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. [Limitation-of-liability and indemnification terms — to be completed with counsel before launch.]

11. Ending things

You can delete your account in the app at any time, and ask to be removed from the waitlist through the contact form. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

12. Governing law

[Governing law and venue — to be set when the operating entity is formed.]

13. Changes and contact

We'll update these terms as the product and legal structure are completed; the effective date above will change when we do.

Questions: [contact address — not yet registered]. Until a contact address exists, the contact form on this site is the channel.
