Pre-launch draft
This is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel, and it describes what the app does today, before launch. Bracketed items are placeholders for details that don’t exist yet — the operating entity, a contact address, the 501(c)(3) intermediary.
Privacy Policy
Effective: [effective date — set at launch]
This policy covers the OneMore app (pre-launch) and this website. OneMore rounds up your purchases to the next dollar and sends the difference to Armenian charities you choose, through a 501(c)(3) intermediary. This document explains what we collect to make that work, and what we deliberately don't.
1. Who we are
OneMore is operated by [operating entity — not yet formed]. OneMore is a for-profit charitable fundraising platform, not a charity. Donations are made to the charities you choose through [501(c)(3) intermediary — not yet chosen], a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which is the legal recipient of record and issues tax receipts. OneMore never holds donor funds.
2. What the app collects
Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in credentials handled by our authentication provider.
Bank activity, through Plaid: when you connect a bank account, we receive transaction records and use them to compute round-ups. We keep each purchase — merchant, category and date — next to the round-up it produced.
Giving settings and activity: the charities you pick, your percentage split, your send-at amount, optional monthly goal, and the derived history that powers streaks, tiers, badges and milestones.
3. What the app deliberately doesn't collect
Your bank login. Plaid handles bank sign-in end to end; your credentials never pass through OneMore.
Your account balance. Where Plaid's responses include a balance, it is discarded, not stored.
We cannot move money out of your account: our Plaid connection requests transaction data only, and the products that move money are not available to us.
4. What this website collects
Waitlist form: your email address, when you joined, and a record of your consent to be emailed about OneMore. We won't email you until there is something to say about launch, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
Contact form: the first name, last name, email, subject and message you submit.
Both forms also store a one-way salted hash of your IP address (never the raw address — the hash cannot be reversed) and your browser's user-agent string, used only to rate-limit abuse.
Analytics on this site are cookieless (Vercel Web Analytics); we do not run advertising trackers.
5. How we use information
To compute round-ups and show you your own giving history; to send pooled donations to the intermediary for your chosen charities; to tell waitlist members about launch; to answer messages sent through the contact form; and to keep the service safe from abuse.
Rankings in the app show your first name and last initial only — never your full name or email — and you can opt out of appearing at all.
6. What we share
Plaid, to connect your bank — their handling of your data is described in Plaid's own privacy policy at plaid.com/legal.
[501(c)(3) intermediary — not yet chosen], to process donations to your chosen charities. [Scope of data shared with the intermediary — to be defined when the intermediary is chosen.]
Service providers that host our infrastructure (our database and hosting providers) process data on our behalf.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
We don't sell your data.
7. Retention
App data is kept while your account is active; deleting your account in the app removes your data from our systems, subject to any records the law requires us to keep. [Detailed retention schedule — to be finalized with counsel.]
Website waitlist and contact rows are kept until launch communications are complete or you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
8. Your choices
Disconnect your bank at any time in the app. Opt out of rankings at any time. Unsubscribe from waitlist email with one click once such email exists.
To access or delete information — including removing yourself from the waitlist — use the contact form on this site. [California and other state privacy rights — to be completed with counsel.]
9. Who OneMore is for
OneMore is for people in the United States who are 18 or older with a US bank account. It is not directed at children.
10. Changes
We'll update this policy as the product and legal structure are completed, and the effective date above will change when we do. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this site.
11. Contact
Privacy questions: [contact address — not yet registered]. Until a contact address exists, the contact form on this site is the channel.
